How will I know what size to order?
Thanks to Disklok's universal design, it's easy to choose the correct size whilst catering for paddle shift gears, horns and airbags. Our small size fits over 99% of modern cars, whilst light commercials, motorhomes and classic cars are covered by our Medium and Large sizes. Simply measure the diameter of your wheel from the outside edge to the outside edge to see which size fits your vehicle:

What is the warranty?
Disklok offer a comprehensive 3-year warranty covering the structure and lock and its mechanism.
What about left-hand drives?
It is possible to use a right-hand drive model on a left-hand drive vehicle. When fitting the Disklok steering wheel lock, you will need to position it at an angle so that the locking bar can clear the A-pillar (the support frame between the windscreen and the front door).
How can I order replacement keys?
Disklok offers a highly secure replacement or copy key service for additional peace of mind. With the original key code, new keys can be ordered, or an original key can be submitted for copying. All details can be found on our website here.
Will a Disklok actually deter theft?
With over 30 years of being the most resilient steering wheel device in the market, its reputation precedes itself, meaning it holds the highest deterrent factor over any other device. With its "no compromise" visual appearance it puts off even the most optimistic criminals, a feature which alarms, trackers, pedal locks, and immobilisers can't compete with. I'm having trouble locking/unlocking my Disklok. What should I do?
If you're experiencing issues with your Disklok, try the following steps:
- Check you're using the correct key – especially if you own more than one Disklok. The key should have the Disklok brand name.
- Ensure the key is fully inserted – The high-security barrel lock features 10 individual disks that might occasionally misalign. If this happens, the key might only turn 45 degrees.
- Inspect the barrel lock – Look into the barrel lock to see if a disk is obstructing the key path. To realign it, insert the key as far as possible, then apply downward pressure while wiggling it left to right until the key drops further into the lock.
Important: Never oil the lock or force the key. If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
Will the Disklok leave a mark on my steering wheel?
The Disklok doesn't attach to the steering wheel, meaning its weight rests on the top front-facing side. If you have a soft leather steering wheel, you might notice a temporary mark or indent. This mark usually disappears over time. To prevent any long-term marks, we recommend using a steering wheel cover with your Disklok.
